H E L L O - 

I am Catherine.  I have been married for 27 years to an amazing man who was my college sweetheart and still continues to be my biggest fan.  We have two children who are both teenagers now. Throughout our marriage, we have lived all over the country.  I would not change a thing about our life and the communities we have lived.  We have gathered amazing lifelong friends in every place. We have been in the Dallas metro area for 14 years now and love our community, school, and friends.  I am also fortunate to spend several months a year on the beaches of 30A in Florida.  

I am passionate about telling people's stories, especially my own people. My obsession with a camera came when I was a little girl.  My grandfather was an avid photographer who documented his service and time in World War II.  He passed on his love and eye with the camera to me.  He passed away when I was 17 years old, and I inherited one of his cameras.  From then on, I often had a camera in my hand.  

As my children have grown, I realize their childhood is fleeting.  Someone has pressed the fast forward button on my life, and I am furiously documenting every event and stage of their life.  Looking back at their images from when they were little, gives me such joy.  I am so grateful I have documented their childhood.  I know someday, when they are grown with their own children, they will look back on the images I have taken and remember the love I have for them and the experiences we have given them with great fondness.
